These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Awal Global Consults website (awalglobal.com.ng) and the services provided by Awal Global Consults Limited ("Awal Global Consults," "we," "us," or "our"), RC-9282103, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria. By contacting us, submitting the KYC portal, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
We provide CAC business name and company registration, trademark registration, legal documentation, corporate and regulatory compliance support, identity and NIN documentation assistance, expatriate and immigration guidance, student visa support, export/import licensing guidance, and related business advisory services in Nigeria. The exact scope of work for any engagement is the scope confirmed with you in writing (via WhatsApp, email, or an itemized quote) before we begin.
Quotes and fees
We work on a custom quote basis. Once we understand what you need, we send an itemized quote covering our service charge and any applicable government fees. Work begins only after you've confirmed the quote and made the agreed payment (in full or as otherwise agreed). Prices quoted are specific to the scope discussed and may change if the scope of work changes — for example, if a proposed business name is rejected by the CAC and requires a further name search, or if additional documentation is required due to information you provide.
Your responsibilities
To complete your registration or filing accurately and on time, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information and documents.
- Respond promptly to requests for additional information or documents.
- Ensure any proposed business name, business activity, or supporting document you provide is one you're legally entitled to use.
Delays or errors caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or late information from you are outside our control, and we're not responsible for resulting delays, rejections, or additional government fees.
Government processing timelines
Timelines we quote (for example, business name registration within 24 hours, or limited company incorporation within 3–7 business days) reflect our typical processing time once we have everything we need from you. These timelines depend on the relevant government agency (CAC, Nigeria Revenue Service, SCUML, or others) and can be affected by factors outside our control, including agency backlogs, system downtime, public holidays, or queries raised on your specific application. We'll keep you updated if a timeline changes, but we can't guarantee a government agency's processing time.
Payments
Payments can be made via bank transfer or Paystack, as provided in your quote. We do not store your card details — payments made via Paystack are processed directly and securely by Paystack. Work on your registration or filing begins once payment (or the agreed initial payment) is confirmed.
Cancellations and refunds
If you wish to cancel a service after payment but before we've submitted anything to a government agency or third party on your behalf, contact us and we'll discuss a fair refund of any amount not yet spent on your behalf. Once an application, filing, or payment has been submitted to the CAC or another government agency, government fees are generally non-refundable, as they are paid over to the relevant agency and are outside our control. Our service fee for work already completed (e.g. document preparation, name search, filing) is also non-refundable once that work has been done. We'll always be upfront with you about what stage your engagement is at if you raise a cancellation request.
What we are — and are not
Awal Global Consults is an independent business and compliance consulting firm. We are not the Corporate Affairs Commission, the Nigeria Revenue Service, SCUML, or any other government agency, and we don't control their decisions or processing times. Our team, led by A.O. Abdullateef, brings practical legal and compliance experience to your registration or filing, but engaging us does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Services such as CAC registration, TIN filing, and standard compliance documentation do not require a separate lawyer under Nigerian law; if your situation involves a legal dispute, complex share structuring, or a matter that specifically requires a lawyer, we'll tell you and can point you toward appropriate legal counsel.
Confidentiality
We treat all documents and information you share with us as confidential, and we don't share them with third parties except as necessary to complete the service you've asked for (see our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information).
Limitation of liability
We take reasonable care in preparing and submitting your registration, filing, or documentation. However, we're not liable for delays, losses, or costs arising from: decisions or processing times of government agencies; inaccurate or incomplete information you provide; changes in law or regulatory requirements after your engagement begins; or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will first be addressed through direct discussion between you and us in good faith, before either party pursues any other remedy available under Nigerian law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
